Hi everyone!

I'm considering buying the Divevolk Seatouch 4 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra and would love to hear your thoughts on it, especially for underwater photography. Has anyone here used it? Would you recommend it?

Also, I've read that the case might not work if there's a screen protector on the phone. Is that true?

Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

The housing is great; easy to pack, and dead simple to use. I’ve not heard of any failures or defects. The screen has to be up against the membrane, so no screen protectors.

I've been very happy with mine. Easy to use and should work with virtually any phone - just need the right insert. I don't have a screen protector, so can't speak to that. I recently got the red and magenta filters and like those too.

I have one with the s24 ultra. I bought it only a week ago so I can't give a detailed review. The only use has been in a pool. I can answer some of the questions though. I have a screen protector on my s24 ultra and it works just fine. There's a setting in the menu that you need to select if you use a screen protector in general. Settings > Display > Touch Sensitivity. It needs to be on. Also, I would recommend another setting when diving. Settings > Accessibilty > Interaction and Dexterity > Assistant Menu (on). This gives you a little button you can place wherever on the screen to access the home, back, and multi windows buttons. I find, with the s24 ultra, the navigation bar at the bottom is in a very hard to touch place inside the divevolk case. This remedies that issue.

We're heading to Raja Ampat in September for a snorkeling holiday and I'm currently considering this housing for my S24 Ultra over buying a new GoPro (we have an older one as backup). Have you since been able to try it out on Dives and how has it been? Also quite interested how the S24 Ultra itself did with photography underwater as I've seen one review where it did not handle the red light filter as well as the iphones. Less of a problem for me at snorkeling depths I guess and it's low light and zoom performace should be an advantage for underwater photography.

Hi Johan,

Apologies for completely forgetting about this thread and not posting an update sooner! I ended up getting the Divevolk Seatouch 4 Max and have been absolutely thrilled with it. While it took some time to get the hang of using it properly underwater, the included instructions were very helpful in guiding me through the process.

I also purchased a photography diving light, which significantly improved the quality of my photos. To make things even more convenient, I 3D-printed a custom rig that allowed me to attach both my GoPro and the light. This setup made it incredibly easy to handle everything during the dive.

One thing I was glad about was leaving the screen protector on—it worked perfectly without causing any issues.

Feel free to ask if you have more questions! I’ve attached some photos I took with the Galaxy S24 Ultra for you to check out.

Cheers!
