When the cute female DM unclips the safety wire to the dive wire and says "Pool is Open"

While underwater, just the sound of the ocean does it for me. I can actually feel my BP drop and stress ebb away when I'm diving.

Just the peace from everyday noises works for me. The sound of my breathing, bubbles & heartbeat. True peace & serenity.

Nah, get rid of the bubbles!!!

Dale

After the styrofoam cup pops to the surface, the rumble of the engine ceases. I hear waves lapping against the side of the boat, soft creaking as she rocks side to side, the alpha flag flapping in a the breeze, and the captain shouting in the morning air, "pool's open!" Oh, what a symphony to my ears.

First, the peaceful silence between breaths.

Second, the reassuring sound of air passing through my second stage as my lungs receive the life supporting gas from my cylinder.
