Fantasy Lake 8/1

I'm planning to camp at Fantasy Lake the night of 7/31 (after diving with Olympus in More head City) as a stop over on my way back to Northern Virginia. I figure I'll do a couple tanks there in the morning before getting back on the road. I'll need a buddy. Anyone know of any LDS that will be there that weekend. Any other diver looking for a buddy?

I've never been there before, but looks like a convenient place a couple hours north of Morehead. They rent tanks there right? Anything else I should know?

They are usually have the compressor going for tanks. There will most likely be someone around you can buddy with. You might want to ask on the NC board, lot of times someone off that board is going to be there on the weekends.

For anyone who is interested. I did end up going (actually on the 31st) and dove a couple tanks, including a night dive. This was actually a pretty fun place, well worth the stop. The water was warm too.
