I got a Fantasea FG9X housing for my camera a few years ago and would like to get a small flash for it but I seem to have lost the little black piece of plastic that attached to the camera house and allows the strobe cables to sense the camera flash.

1. does anyone know where you can buy a replacement?
2. does anyone have one that they do not need or want they are willing to sell?
3. does anyone have a file I could 3d print a replacement?
4. are there aftermarket options that I could use in place of this piece?

Thanks

You mean the fibre optic cable plate which is item 6 on the diagram on page 6 of the manual?

A quick google found this replacement part: Replacement Fiber Optic Cable Plate

should be orderable by any place stocking Fantasea housings. You could also use a universal mount like this: Fiber Optic Mounting Block (2 Hole)

Fairly pricey for a bit of plastic I guess and ideally you should mask off the parts on the window this item does not cover.

Thanks. i was not able to order the part from the first link you sent me but they gave me the contact info for fantasea and was able to special order it from them...
