....but what the heck.

There have been a few vocal anti-DIR people who've bitten the dust. I often wonder if their last thoughts were:

GI wasn't nice about it, but I wish I had listened to him anyway.

Looks like they were right about the insipiration after all.
 
hmmmmm...my guess is that any words uttered while diving might be your last.

Last words if not diving? Perhaps "Well folks, its been a great life. Had some good times, a wonderful marriage, tried to get the most out of everyday, spent some quality time underwater...and now that I'm 84 and suffering from...ukkk, ihhhk.....ahhhhhhh...bye" or something like that.

I wonder what Jacques Costeau's ('scuse the spelling) last words were?

Not too long ago they found two divers dead in a cave. One had written on his slate "don't worry, I know the way out".

Kind of puts a damper on this thread...

Solo diving only applys to scuba dives, not free dives.
