Anyone interested in diving at Joe's this Saturday? It's been way too long since I've made it down to FRP. I'm currently planning on getting there around 10 am and would like to get in a couple of dives before heading back home mid-afternoon.

It's been so long I think I need a tour guide. :lotsalove:

JP might be interested since he has my set of 85's he wants to dive. All went well last weekend after a few adjustments.

JP? JP???? You interested? I'll also be diving doubles.

Sorry, out of town for the next two weekends. We are planning on doing a Labor Day weekend M&G at Pennyroyal. Going to start the thread now since I forgot to do it before.

What are the temps running ... surface and at depth?

I heard the viz is near zero at Joe's. So much that the fundies class I'm helping Ed with is getting moved to Pennyroyal.

That bad huh? That'll make for a rude re-introduction to midwest diving following our trip to NC!

It's about as bad as it's ever been. It's never recovered from the police doing search and recovery drills and moving the boats around. I'd say the vis is done until cold weather comes and it gets a break to settle out.

In spots it was getting nasty. It was 10-15' in most spots.
Not sure on temps but the first thermo is at 25' +-. Several dove wet last weekend and were comfortable. I will try and remember to take a peek at the temps.
