Ive been told that if you fall in the water with your dry suit open youll still stay buoyant. so heres my worry

going for a pee with my suit around my waist with my beaver arctic undergarment on - Im worried that if I fall in head first and get air trapped in my feet i wont be able to right myself -alternatively I right myself and the water fills my legs and I dont have enough upper buoyancy to keep my head above water

has anyone had FIRST HAND experience with this

I've always been worried about getting strangled by my second stage :)

Dude, you need a p-valve.
i have one but only use it on very long dives normally dont bother 'kitting up"

One hand for the boat and one hand for your..... coffee. Don't fall overboard. Wear a lifejacket.

omg never thought of that maybe we should start another thread "my greatest fears"

Smart to think about it. As a DM I would see people on the SI on the boat with boots and a weight belt on. Made me nervous, and when I would point it out to them ..It was obvious they did not realize it and might well sink before figuring it out. If it is rough piss on the deck
