The topography of the pass when dived as a deco dive is an inward tide taking you from the depth to shallower water, so they dive it without deco stops as you automatically clear deco just by doing the dive which starts deep at the mouth and the current takes you into the pass which gets shallower as you go, as I recall from about 150 ft to about 35 feet over the course of the dive. They do it on steel single tanks, If I am remembering correctly I think they were equivalent to steel 120s. Narcosis would be your biggest worry.
