I guess online retailers aren't allowed to sell Atomic Regulators anymore. I was wondering what I should expect to pay for an Atomic B2 at a LDS. What is a fair price and what would be a good (but not out of line) deal?

at my local dive shop i think B2's sell for around $750, I'm not sure how out of line that is but that is what they priced it.

Retail was about $650 last year at this time. Personally, I would ask for 10% off - they ARE allowed to discount that much. If they are not willing to budge and there are not any other Atomic dealers near by, then you may be SOL.

Personally, I would not pay retail for this large of a purchase. Smaller ticket items I don't haggle about.

ca dive shop 699.00 give or take ten percent:D
hope this helps

Sugg. retail price is around $699, but dealers are allowed to take 10% off. If your lds really wants to make the sale, he might throw other things into the deal. Basic gauges, or other accessories are not an unheard of "package" that you can negotiate.

Good luck. My wife and I both have B2's, and really like them. Worth the extra $$$ IMHO. I was very satisfied with the deal we got.

Try Diver Dans in CA. I got a GREAT deal there. www.diverdans.com. They should cut you a break too.

$695.00 at my lds

Atomic B2 Regulator $799cdn = $703.00 USD
Atomic B2 Sealed $839cdn = $739.00 USD
