How do u trim it - what's your rule of thumb for measuring (lost my old hooded vest that fit perfectly, just got a new one - not crazy about the hood fit - therefore decided that consultation is necessary before cutting)

Thanx

I want to have a amall overlap onto my mask skirt, between 1/4-3/8". If there is too much especially on top in pushes the mask around.
* I don the hood
* I put my mask on OVER the hood seal
* I use a silver Sharpie marker to draw lines from the skirt onto the hood. this creates a set of points that represent the edge of the skirt.
* doff it all
* make dots on the hodd seal 1/4-3/8" inward of the mask edge marks to create the overlap
* connect the dots to form a symetrical cut line
* Cut along the line with good shears. Remember to hold it all steady, it is a 3 dimensional material.
* Clean up the markings with rubbing alchohol.
