What are the real specs on Faber LP-85s?

TDL's website publishes two sets of specs for these tanks:
Weight w/valve: 31lbs dry and neutral buoyant when empty.
Other spec: # 31.2 lbs dry and 2.32 lbs empty Buoyancy in salt water

If one were to assume that the second spec was "without valve", then why is the dry weight not 2.32lbs lighter? Also, how do they establish the buoyancy characteristics of tanks without a valve? Is it simple math or something?

(Rob, if you see this post, it's not that I don't believe you. It's that the specs on TDL look incredibly dubious.)

The first one is freshwater buoyancy, second is saltwater.

A valve has no buoyancy. So the buoyancy of the tank in water, minus the weight of the valve equals the buoyancy of the tank minus the valve.

Wow... good alternative to aluminum 80s. At least with these tanks, you can overfill (pretty generously).

Yep, very similar buoyancy to the AL80, but holds more gas, and doesn't float butt up. Similar dry weight to an AL80 also and an inch shorter.
