I built a model of the Corsair wreck that is south of Pt Loma. AFAIK, the wreck has yet to be identified. I think it is probably one of my best models so far and consists of 770 photos. The post includes screenshots of the model along with a link to the model on Sketchfab is at:


Below is a screen capture of the "top down" view of the model with some of the key highlights.

The wreck site consists of the famous Pratt & Whitney R-2800 "Double Wasp" engine separated from the front of the fuselage and wings. There was a cool Torpedo Ray at the fuselage and a "stubborn" scorpion fish that stayed on top of the fuselage while I took all my pictures. :)
