hey everyone
i have been living in thailand for almost three months now doing my divemaster on koh tao. i am finished now and i am now based out of phuket. i came out here with the intentions to dive the west coast. recently i just did a liveaboard to the similians and a day trip out of phuket. my problem that i am having is that every time i dive, after about 10 minutes of bottom time i start getting extreme headaches and become nautious. i have no idea what is going on. i have been diving for a while and never have i had problems like this. when i was in koh tao everything was fine. i somehow believe that maybe the air has something to do with it. this is the first time that i have used air from a compressor on board a boat (liveaboards). all of my past dive experiences have been filling the tank on land then going out on a boat. the air definately tastes different than my past experiences that is why i am concluding that it is the air. i have used 2 operators out here now and the air tastes exactly the same. can anyone help me out with this? i really want to dive but physically right now i cant becuase the pain is extremely bad when i dive. any medicine? recommendatons? anything? thanks so much everyone.
