Quarry diving = thermocline(s). Depends on time of year, depth and quarry size, but usually below 40-60 feet having water temps in the 50's. That would for me be a rather short stay in a 5mm, comfortable in a 7mm, or my preference....being in a dry suit. (I don't own a 7mm...if it is that cold I am going to be diving dry).
