That doesn't sound like EV. What was their reasoning? Were the Nov trips already booked?

My guess is that they're not that hopeful that the permanent permit would come out in time for the November trip, too. You know how things work in Mexico ;)
 
EV wouldn't let me switch from 10/8 to any November cruise. I accepted their offer of an October substitute cruise on another of their yachts and they made me whole on the air change fee. Not my preference, but better than staying dry!

Which October cruise are you going on? I am booked on the Oct 28 T&C II trip. The passenger load is quite low.
 
I don't know where the actual boat is these days, but it's not part of Explorer Ventures' fleet. That itinerary was removed almost before it began. Something to do with not being able to secure the necessary permits, I believe.
