I/We have been working very hard to determine safe ways to let divers enjoy some VERY special dives. WE have decided to separate it from the Polar Express which is really for intermediate divers, from the seriously expert divers needed to dive these recently discovered sites…way up north.

It turns out I can't figure out how to post a document here, but if I can have some pointers maybe I can. OR I can put it on our web page and make a link. Please advise?

Amazing. What training can I take to be qualified to go on one of these dives?

I believe you already have it. Figuring out Jon lines and reefs hooks should not be a problem. But if you have a great fear of sharks, which I now think you might, then perhaps consider Paradise Reef with private DM

PS BTW, yesterday, March 8th, we dove there and had almost no current, great viz and sleeping sharks in three different caves.

It appears you tried to attach a document with a dot docx extension which is not supported by the software. From the FAQ section of the board:

The administrator allows you to use the attachment feature of this forum, which gives you the ability to attach files of certain types to your posts. This could be an image, a text document, a zip file etc. There will be a limit to the file size of any attachments you make.

To attach a file to a new post, simply click the [Manage Attachments] button at the bottom of the post composition page, and locate the file that you want to attach on your local hard drive.

Only certain types of files may be attached. These are the valid file extensions for files to be attached to this forum: bmp, doc, gif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, kmz, pdf, png, ppt, psd, txt, xls and zip.

After posting, the image attachments display a thumbnail, depending on the forum settings. To view the contents of the attachment (if it is not already displayed) simply click the filename link that appears next to the attachment icon.

The document is there. I was able to read it. Sounds very interesting! I hope to be able to go on my next trip to Cozumel.

I talked with one diver you had up there a little more than a week ago and he showed me the type of reef hook he had that was bent in half up there. Wow!

Here is a PDF version of your word doc. Ppl dont trust word documents as they are used a lot to send viruses to people. PDF's are much safer.

Delete your word document and use this instead.

I trusted Dave's word doc.

But it's not for me. Lost me at "kicking against strong currents". That interferes with my hangover. For $197, they should do the kicking for me! (I could pretend I'm low on air and make the DM drag me around by his long hose!)

Dear Mossman,

With three tanks of nitrox, three dives, lunch included for an all day adventure where no one else has gone before, that is $15 more than regular trips down south. Yesterday there was no current at all, but we have to be safe rather than sorry. My guess is that we will eventually find the currents to be the same as down south (un predictable this time of year) and it may be no big thing…but we will change as we better understand the conditions. But for now, we don't want any hungover divers whose family may sue me in Texas.
