I would like to point out another option to recreational courses then PADI to the divers in the Philippines. (American Nitrox Divers International) ANDI has a full range of recreational courses available to the public. I have looked at the NEW manuals are quite comprehensive and also in color. There are some real nice Power Pointe presentations for the Instructors to use and work books for the student to follow along with. ANDI has a full range of courses from the basic open water all the way through Instructor level. They do have First Aid provider, CPR and oxygen provider courses. There are just a few of the recreational courses they have. I read through these manuals and was quite impressed. ANDI does have a Regional Headquarters located in Manila. The owners of the Regional Headquarters belongs to George May and Matt Caldwell. If you are interested and have any questions about the ANDI system you can email either Matt at
matthew f.caldwell" <matfcald@attglobal.net
Or email me.

i totally agree with you i am currently chomping down the COmplete safe air and technical save diver booklets and am very impressed with the course content. very up to date

I just purchased the NEW TSD powerpointe presentations which are awesome and will help in teaching courses. I have been using the ANDI-GAP program for all of my technical dives which is one of the nicer programs I have used. The planner will give you the option of either using RGBM or buhlmann profiles. The program you can down load for a 14 day test at www.andihq.com The program is definetly worth purchasing. Other new materials are Azimuth scr and KISS ccr manuals. I would believe the MEG will be the next one to follow.
