I suggest that the recent deluge of Aggressor/Dancer "trip reports" is adversely affecting the value of this particular forum. Having been on both company's boats I enjoyed them very much, however, respectfully, these messages only convey the brochure info. That's all fine and they're welcome to it and there's some interesting points in there but the weekly volume of them is dulling the benefit of them and swamping the real users messages I come here for.

Just an observation.

Have to agree.

They say pretty much the same thing over and over and make it more difficult to find real trip reports. To me a real trip report is one done by a passenger, not the crew. One that gives both the good and the bad of the trip.

As much as I'm a fan of both companies I'd have to agree as well. I read their trip reports from their website and facebook pages, no need for it here. Better off leaving this forum to guests onboard.

--I'll still be a repeat passenger though.--

Perhaps Aggressor fleet/Wayneworks would like their own forum in the manufacturers section? Maybe other liveaboard operators would like that too. I know that my trip reports on Facebook are very popular, but maybe as an opt in or ignore feature only would be best...

Another Agree. I too am a past passenger on Aggressor and as such posted a review here on Scubaboard. I think this board is much more appropriate for actual passenger reports, especially since the reports posted here by the Aggressor Fleet people are also available on the Aggressor website.

All of the reports are being combined into one thread for each boat, rather than multiple threads for each.

Yes, thanks. Merging threads to keep the total thread count per boat or operator from dominating the forum seems like a good compromise.
