Shop Now: MAKO Ceramic Line Cutters

Watch It in Action: Dano and Dave Free a Sea Turtle

Dano used the ceramic line cutter to free the paracord wrapped tightly around the turtle's neck and flippers.

This rescue shows that carrying the right tool is not just about diver safety - Its about protecting marine life too!

I don't know if this counts, I used a Mares XR ceramic line cutter to free a seagull from fishing line with the hook still attached on the beach after a dive. I call it my fancy letter opener. Works a treat.

Trilobite is sort of the standard here, is this much better or cheaper?

@MAKO Spearguns Dano, are the sheaths designed just for 2” belts, or is there an option that fits computer wristbands?

Erik
The slot is for the standard 2-inch belting. I imagine that if you were really motivated you could hand sew the 2-inch slot down and make a very narrow slot that matches your computer strap in about 3-4 minutes?

Thanks very much for the inquiry!
