I am curious if there any suggestions on what I should do differently or perhaps I need another mask. I usually start to feel some pain towards the end of my dive,( on the bottom part of the nose), and is on the longer dives, (45 to 60 minutes dive). My dive buddy( my wife) also felt the same thing.
I checked to see if it was to tight and pulled it down a bit to alleviate the pain and then cleared it. But the pain would come back, after a little bit.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? Could use some advice on this one. For the both of us.

This is one of the reasons tech divers that do very long dives use a Low Volume Mask. Less buoyancy pushing up on your nose from a standard or high volume mask.

In addition to that, also put the mask strap straight and on an even plane with your nose. That is don't have the mask strap riding high on your head.
Sometimes that makes a difference.

I did switch to low volume mask after losing my first one. It is a Tusa ceos free dive mask.

Thanks for the tip I will give that a try. I will also ask my wife to do the same.

Second that, I find that if I have my strap up towards the top of my head that it pulls the mask upwards. Having the strap closer to the bottom of the skull helps to prevent it riding up. Also adjusting the mask downwards can also help dramatically. I use the Mares X vision liquid skin - older models - seem to accommodate my nose.:D

Maybe the mask has tugged on my nose if it's not on straight, so I adjust it. But I don't know why it would hurt just at the end of a dive, and I've used many different masks.

I think it its probably tugging the whole time and I only notice real discomfort when its starts to become to painful, usually 30 minutes into the dive.
