I see Gilboa is doing the "most divers in the water" event this summer, and Portage is doing the "Legends" event. Good fun, I'm looking forward to attending.

But, I am totally in the dark about other dive spots in Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania. What else is going on? Can anyone post some activies they know about?

I saw a thread started on places to dive, but most of the spots seemed to focus on Ohio and Michigan. Are there other places in some other states? I don't mind the drive, I'd like to hit some fun spots and see what else is around here.

Is there a thread someone could direct me to, with web links to dive spots that the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew likes to hit?

I stumbled across a spring that has dives, down by Dayton, but I can't recall the name. Or, get back to the site! I purged my browse history!

Thanks, for any help, feedback or information!

The one near Dayton is Natural Springs in New Paris.

Indiana sites:
France Park west of Logansport
Phillip's Quarry in Muncie
Blue Springs south of Waldron
Hidden Paradise in St. Paul
White Rock in St. Paul
Sunset Park in Linton

None of these sites can compare to Gilboa, White Star or Haigh (I've never been to Portage). Most of my quarry dives are at one of those 3 sites anymore. I will occasionally hit one of the Indiana quarries, but only when I'm assisting with a class or need to get wet and only have a short amount of time.

The St. Clair River is also a popular spot. If you touch base with busdiver, he can give you a pretty good idea of how to dive the MI side of the river. If you feel like coming over to the Ontario side - shoot me a note and I'll be happy to show off the sites we have on this side of the river. Everything from the newly certified to the more experienced that want to try something new.
