Evacuation procedures outside of the United States

Just curious, does anyone else check with DAN about evacuation procedures before they go diving outside of the United States? I generally like to know the location of the nearest chamber and the time it takes to get there from the dive sites.

Hi skresch,

On foreign dive trips I probably know the location of the nearest hyperbaric facility for about 3/4 of the venues. For the remainder, I have yet to call DAN to inquire, but doing so makes sense.
