Hello everyone looking to buy a "DIR" style 12L steel cylinder. I was recommended the brand EurosCylinder but I am having trouble finding them in the EU, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to get them? All the best.

A single 12L is just a single 12L, not much DIR to it, and it's by far the most common cylinder over here. Your local diveshop should have a pile of them. I prefer the concave bottom variant for singles as it can stand up without a boot.

If you're looking for doubles, they possibly may not have them in stock (but they would certainly order). There are usually a lot on the second hand market as well. Double 12s are common for tech divers and many seem to migrate to RBs and their twinsets become available.

For new, I like to order myself and get my cylinders from a couple of German dive shops:

Thanks for the reply, unfortuanately deepstop don't sell the single cylinder Eurocylinders, but I will check the scuba-force link.

I mean, they do, though they have for some reasons bundled them as side mount or without valve. You can get them in either round bottom or concave, white or hot dipped, and then add the valve of your choice.

uwfun24.de has them too, with multiple valve options.

I think a steel 12L from ECS should be relatively easy to get in most of Europe.

Maybe have a look here for a dealer? A 12l steel is a 12l steel. You want to have the long version and without boot plus a twin valve. Other than that not surw how it can be "DIR"?
