Just wanted to let everybody know that another Essentials of DIR course is being held at Northwest Sports Divers in June. My husband took this class in April, and I sat in on a lot of it. It's a very good course as an introduction to the buoyancy and trim ideas, kicks, and emergency procedures. The course is taught by Joe Talavera, who I'm convinced is the funniest scuba instructor on the planet, as well as being a really nice guy and a good teacher.
