Equinox Housing for the Canon XH A1?

Hi everybody
I'm a professional cinematographer and owner of a film production company (aquatic media filmproduktion) in Germany.
For a new project I need a housing for one of our camcorders, the Camon XH A1.
There are only two manufactors on the market for this Camcorder. One is Gates. Very good housings (we own one) but also very expensive. The other is Equinox. The price is around 2000 dollars cheaper.
Is there anyone who has experiences with this housing or a similar housing for a different camera? It's the EQUNIOX Pro 10.
How are the optics? Is the dome port o.k.? Is it possible to use a wide angle lens?
I would be very thankful for any advice!

Well I am a video newbie, but I have been doing some research lately on housings. Besides the Gates, and Equinox housings you also have SeaCam and AquaVideo.

If you don't mind spending an arm and a leg, the gates is the way to go. Which you already have one of there housings, so you understand. I like the Equinox, Pro 10 is a nice set-up at a fraction of the cost of Gates. But you get what you pay for.
