Recently purchased a Olympus C5050, PT015 housing and Epoque ES150DS strobe. Plan is to eventually upgrade to a Sea & Sea YS90-DX strobe, but in the mean time, anybody got any good techinques, info, etc., on using the ES150 to optimize it's perfomance? Now keep in mind I haven't been in the water with this combo yet (currently diving a Sealife DC 200 and strobe), so any info to help a newbie first time out with this combo would be greatly appreciated.

when you replace the batteries on the strobe tripple check the "o" ring seal, i know of two that have flooded.

one on here and it was a manufacturing fault.

another the "o" ring slipped out of its groove.

seriously if you can afford the sea and sea or ike then send it back and get one

you will still get back scatter with the epoque as it is so close to the camera.

the sea and sea dx25 or the ike ds50 would be a start then you can add one of the bigger ones later to give twin strobe setup
