Having issues with Fluid trapped behind my ear, even when I'm not diving. I am able to clear my ears but it's annoying as all hell to repeatedly have to clear when standing on land. I really need to go to an ENT but I want to make sure I go to one with some Diving Knowledge. Does anyone know of a good doctor in the Boston/Randolph/Brockton area?

From your brief description, I think I had the same thing several years ago. It was water trapped behind the eardrum, muffling my hearing, but causing no pain. It was a very unsettling & uncomfortable feeling. I can't recommend an ENT, but I can say(assuming this condition is just water behind the ear drum) that it will go away. I did a search in the medical issues(?) forum on the SB and a Google search and got some good advice. Condition has never returned. I think it might have been the result of diving with a sinus infection. Good luck.
