Stuff like this is always cool. We had something similar happen. Except instead of underwater it was at our house. We were getting bank notices for the long time owner of our house who died 5 years before we bought it. The accounts had a respectable amount of money in it that if the descendants did not get the state would. Anyway we did some tracking and found the daughter-in-law of the owner. Subsequently we meet the grand-daughter and great-granddaughter who told some great stories about the house and those who lived in it. And best of all they learned about the long lost accounts.

Very cool story. On a related subject. If anyone should find a white gold wedding band near the Duane I would like it back. It is my original wedding ring. It came off while I was rescuing a diver behind the boat I was crewing on. Luckily my wife was diving with us that day, and she didn't kill me.
