End of March and Early April

I am traveling to Malaysia and will be there the end of March. I have some diving planned there. I was looking for suggestions for 4 or 5 days in Thailand, probably the beginning of April.

I know there are plenty in the threads. Just looking at what new may pop up.

Interested in easy to fly into and out-of, airport pick-up or??? I am more of an Airbnb person than a hotel person and I was not really planning on renting a car, but I will if I need too. Rather make my own coffee and find dinner at what looks good walking about.

Don't know where you are in Malaysia, if in the North you could come by public transport and go to the Trang area, e.g. Koh Lipe or Koh Lanta. If not, fly to Phuket or Krabi (not sure about direct flights from KL or Penang to Krabi, but would presume there are) and make your way to Ao Nang, Koh Lanta, Phi Phi, Khao Lak or Phuket. All offer very nice diving and conditions should be very nice that time of year.
