Have recently been uploading all my digital pics and videos onto my new 400mb web site (ipowerweb.com). Was wondering if anyone could recommend the best way to embed the AVIs that my Canon Ixus takes underwater.

As I dont want to make people download the video unless they choose to, what I would like to do is to capture an image from the AVI, show that with a link to download the AVI. The trouble is that I can't for the life of me find a way to capture a single frame of the AVI as a JPG...does anyone know a way ?

The alternative is to simply use the Embed tag and put the AVI into the page, the trouble with that is the download time.

Any thoughts or hints that would help me to get this movies into my web site would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Simon
