Has anyone heard of them or gotten a cert from them? I am trying to get my OW so I can start diving and came across them, they are close to me and have pretty good pricing but I couldn't find much info. Or if anyone has good, affordable class recommendations in the Orange County/LA County area that would be great.

Thanks

Don't know anything about them, but Ocean Gear is another option in Huntington Beach. They've been around for years and just moved to a new location on Edinger just past Golden West.

Try: Dive N' Surf 504 N Broadway Redondo Beach, CA 90277
(310) 372-8423 & ask for Kathy Kempton

Yeah they are a great business. I think they have been around for about 11 years. My son and his friends took a class with them through their High School. It was for PE. There a guy named Mike who works there and the owner called Robert, I think hes from Australia or New Zealand. Anyways would totally recomend them to anyone.

I'd recommend Ocean Safari Scuba in San Gabriel.

I second this big time. Gabe and his staff are all excellent instructors. They've spent a lot of time working with me to build classes that are specific to my needs. Absolutely top notch dive shop.

I'm with JMDiver, I like Dive'n'Surf and Kempton is the best!!
