El Dorado Resort - Dumaguette

Anyone ever stayed/dove with the El Dorado Resort near Dumaguette, Philippines?

I am thinking of going there with some freinds and was wondering what are the options for staying down there is comparative comfort (i.e. standards as Atlantis or a start below).

Just returned from my diving trip in Dumaguette. I was staying at Atlantis so I am not able to offer comment on accommodation. But I was night diving in El Dorado's house reef and that I think is better than Atlantis'.

You may wish to take the domestic flight from Manila to Dumaguete which is on special offer at 1870 peso per single journey. That will save you hours travelling on land/sea.

It has been a few years ago, but at that time it was a nice place and a reasonable price. Great jump off to Apo Island which is more a remote place to stay. I recommend that at least for a few nights. Wonderful and the diving is great.
