I just don't log dives
I rinse thoroughly after every dive. What I haven't been doing is drying the thing, so its been air drying.

Now, its no longer mirror shiney - its pretty cloudy with a filmy muck on it. Not that it needs to be mirror or anything, but its not realy pretty.

Window cleaner was a no go. Clear water, nope. Yelling at it didn't work. Is this yet another "try vinegar on it" cureall?

Any ideas?

Thanks

I just shiny mine up with my finger ... seems to work ...

Before or after your ear?

Ken... ETOH might work if vinegar doesn't cut it.

I'm in fix the gear mode tonight. Cleaning the rust off of my stuff with Vinegar, stopping the Alka Seltzer fizz from the SPG, replacing Orings, removing old zip ties, inspecting hoses, resizing the harness, trying to get my dang inflator to STOP its perpetual inflation thing, and all that rot.

While I got the vinegar out I'll give it a shot. My fingers don't have the miracle shinola Bob's do...

Stick your finger in your ear first.

If vinegar (acid) doesn't cut it try ETOH... or if your a non-drinker use rubbing alchohol like I do.
