Hey guys,

As most of you know Egypt is actually voted one of the worlds best diving destinations.

It is a stunning touristic destination and has year round warm climates. You can get some relatively cheap flights there now, especially since Easy Jet now does direct flights to Sharm and Hurghada.

You can get some relatively good holiday deals, if you are a keen diver and plan to visit often then there is even the possibility of buying your own place by the beach from less than £6,500!! There are many great deals to be had and it is a great time to invest in this developing country.

I myself have bought there and it is a popular holiday home choice for many divers who actually save money in the long run by buying there own place rather than spending it on hotels.

Contact me for advice on buying in this diving hotspot :)

Not Likely !!!
Anyone who parted with their hard earned cash to buy property in egypt at this time is taking a huge gamble. This sounds like a great way to flush money down the toilet.

Thats unfortunate that you feel that way. I personally have helped in the selling of over 100 properties in Egypt in the past 18 months in Sharm and Hurghada, to UK citizens alone. Big investors in London are parting with their cash and are seeing a very healthy profit on their investments.

Anyway the idea of this is for people whom know Egypt and love diving there will know that it is a great country to be in and the idea is to help them make the best of the low property prices. Instead of forking out thousands on hotels, they can actually get returns on their money whilst still being on holiday and enjoying their diving in a place which offers a year round climate.

If you have not visited Egypt I would really reccomend you do, as you may find your opinion changed. I am not saying that you should buy there, just go and see what an amazing country it is and realise that all the changes going on there are definately for the better.

There are no current market rivals on the value for money you receive there GUARANTEED.

Just keep an open mind :)

Er yeah. As a Sharm resident, I'd have to say the aforementioned post is utter crap.

Yes - there is a high risk potential for long term investment in Sharm because this place will, in time, become the Dubai of Egypt. Inevitably.

But buying a holiday home at the moment? Silly idea. There's a lot of unfinished development in Sharm - people got greedy and then ran out of money but they have the bare skeleton of a building in place and that allows the owners to keep the land. I'm seeing apartments for sale for 70,000 or more Euros, so I'd have to wonder what is really wrong with an apartment that is going for sale at 6,500 UK pounds.

You can't by a place by the beach, because the beaches are all owned by hotels, so that's nonsense, especially with respect to Sharm, and when I read this quote:

It is a stunning touristic destination and has year round warm climates.

then I know this person knows nothing about Egypt, 'cos it's freezing cold here at the moment! :D

Just my two piastres,

cos,

I live here.

Cheers

C.
