So I just purchased a Sandisk 4GB SDHC Memory Card with a speed performance rating of two for use on my future Dc800 camera.
I then read on a post here on SB that the write speed of the Dc800 is 12mb/s per second. The max write speed quoted for this card is only a mere 2mb/s. How much will this effect the performance of the camera? Should I expect a huge delay after taking a picture/video? Or will I only experience a second or two of delay before being able to take a follow up shot? I am currently using a prehistoric 3mp Olympus camera for my underwater shots and am used to it taking a few seconds to cycle. Should I expect similar results with this card and the Dc800? Also just to clarify what I already think I know.... The shutter speed and actual taking of the image won't be effected by the write speed of the card, only the actual saving of the image/video will be delayed. Right?
