I hadn't noticed a problem cutting with the ceramic blade. I like the no rust feature. :D

Same here. At $17, it was a no-brainer for me. I bought 3. I also like the pouch design a little better. I mainly wear it on my right wrist mounted to the straps on my dc.
 
Fairly easy to chip a ceramic blade but in a shielded line cutter, with only "line" hitting the blade, that shouldn't be a problem. Any electric sharpener, preferably with a diamond grit, can put a new edge on them. But for that price, with spares, the DGX is very attractive!

I don't see why not. Hey, anything you can get from a DGX, you can cure with penicillin!

Can't say that for many other dates.(G)
