Maybe I sometimes don't go into enough detail, like when I said HD. I just assume people know what I'm talking about. My bad.

Anyway, I'd like to thank all that supplied useful information. As you can tell, this is Black Friday. The wife is out shopping with her sisters and I'm going to have a big credit card bill at the end of the day.

I am pretty sure I'm going to end up with Sony Vegas for Christmas. I'll most likely be back for some tutorials after that. Life is getting too complicated.

Again, thank you all.

If by any chance you're a student I think you can get vegas for $200. At least that's how it was a few years ago.

Good luck!

I appreciate the thought, but at 60 years old I'm relatively sure I'm not a student anymore; at least in the sense you mean. I will soon become a student of underwater video, though.

I don't even know why I'm doing this. I should just stay with still photgraphy, but my wife says I have to go the video route. I just hate it when she tells me I have to get new toys.

Truely, I do between 5 and 8 scuba trips a year to wayward parts of the world and she says I should do more. Mt buddies say that she must have a boyfriend. I don't care. LOL.

Thanks again.

Barry
