Dive History:
California (naturally, that's where Coronado is), Singapore, Okinawa (Camp Schwab), Viet Nam (Delta), Phillippines (Subic Bay, Camarrines Norte), Fiji, New Zealand (Christchurch, Aukland), Bahamas, Kona, Florida (all over it including some of the caves such as Crystal and Devil's Den) and tons of local diving in quarrys and off the New Jersey and North Carolina Coastline. No Vis to shine a light on it guage reading during SAR as a PSD in Bucks County PA and TRISAR. Worked with FBI, BATF and local / State PD during evidence recoveries and u/w investigations.
Conducted local marine awareness seminars throughout the Lower Bucks County School districts to educate elementary school children of the hazards of water and how to effect a safe rescue (reach, throw, go get help). Conducted Swift water awareness with local boy scout and girl scout troops in my home area while providing video and educational editing with the local cable company. Taught low and high angle rappel to dive rescue candidates.
Current activities: Employed by
Life Support International, Inc. because of military and civilian dive skills - design and employ SAR components and kits for military, SpecOps, and Police SWAT and Helicopter/Marine/USCG operators.
Equipment Setup:
Two BC's: One for SAR one for recreational. Sonic II, Ranger LTD. twin 80 K-valve Oxygen clean tanks with pony. Jersey upline, reels, bells whistles. I sew therefore I have lots of attachment points (paragear ss d-rings galore). Mystral Regulator, Uwatec Computer with linear pg (don't like batteries). Most of the gear is either USDiver/Aqualung or Oceanic.
