Is it true that the interior bladder of the Eclipse cannot be replaced by the owner, and the entire wing would have to be sent back to the factory if it were punctured or torn.

If so, it's really a shame in my opinion, as it negates one of the advantages of having the bladder...

Why wouldnt it be user replaceable-- I can take mine out wash it put it back in, and I bet if there were ever a hole I could put a patch on it. Check your sources on your facts. Who told you that, a salesman?

Thats the whole point of having it over the Pioneer MC.

I imagine it is because the early Halcyon Explorer wings had the bladders glued in. No idea why. However, it you break one of these early bladders you have to ship the wing in for repairs.

Actually, I dropped mine off at EE for a week, same difference.

BTW: Has anyone else noticed that Halcyon now uses the same bladder for all of their Explorers? I thought it was sort of weird at first, but the big bladders work fine in the small wings.

Thats great and all but the question was about the user being able to replace or fix the Eclipes's bladder- for which the answer is yes!--

Have a GREAT DAY!

...Well, isn't that why I am posting here?

Thanks everyone for the responses.
