I just wanted to post a Whine and Cheese against eBay.

They have no visible support, no personable contact via phone, and are a difficult service to use and to manage. They wouldn't let me close my account and remove all my info from their databases, and were very rude.

They also wrongfully charged me.

Yep, the world is finally being taken over by monster internet programs and machines that won't let you go.

Is that why your avatar keeps changing?

Try quitting AOL, they make quitting a cult look easy.

Easy? I quit AOL with one snail-mail. Have received nothing from them since. No extra charges either.

One merely must know how to phrase things.

To whom it may concern:

I am a lawyer. If you don't comply with the requests made in this letter I will sue you for everything you have. It will only be a matter of time before I am living in your house and driving your car.

Thank you.

You think e-bay is evil? There are other organizations that make e-bay look saintly. Chances are excellent you carry one of their cards.
