I'm heading to Dublin from April 25th through May 3rd. I'm going with a non diving buddy so I don't want to spend a lot of time diving but I would love to do a quick easy trip. If I could sneak away for a few hours and do a tank dive. I'm Padi AOW and SSI dry suit certified.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not as good as the west coast but still some decent diving around the islands and a good chance of seeing seals.

If you are heading west https://www.scubadivewest.com/ have single dive boat trips and really good shore diving. Stunning scenery and beaches right by the dive shop so the non diver should be happy enough for an hour or two.

I doubt theres any good shore diving and as far as I know Oceandivers is one of the only active dive shops doing trips in Dublin.

Because of costs and conditions there are not many dive shops in Ireland full stop. Most established ones are along the west coast and Antrim. Your probably talking about 9 or 10 total.

Active divers in Ireland tend to dive with their buddies, join a club or dive solo...
