Too cool! Just how did you see it???

What with there ability to control there color, patterns, stripes and make those patterns move rapidly ... They have got to be one of the most fascinating animals on the planet

Very cool! how did it catch your eye?

Pure luck. I was scanning the sand for these little pipehorses that hang out in that same area and noticed the frilly outline. I thought it was a sole at first until the little guy rose into a hover over the sand and revealed his true identity.

I'll back you up on how tough these things are to spot. At Ishigaki Island last month, The DM drew a picture of one and motioned for me to come over to see it. I kept looking, to no avail. My dive partner had to come in and show me where it was -- hanging in front of my facemask within a few inches. DOH!
