I've been to Cayman several times I always end up diving the north wall (and like it). I am considering going over to the East End for a day. Would it be worth the drive/hassle or is the best diving on the North Wall? Is it 'more of the same' on the East End? Should I take a day and go over there?

I, too, love the East End. I agree about the more rugged underwater terrain. And, you can get some northside diving from Ocean Frontiers when the weather favors it. We've been as far west as Babylon.

Definitely try the East End. The deep dives have less marine life but offer some stunning scenery which is quite different from the N Wall. The shallow dives have a lot of juvenile fish and some interesting swim-thrus.

I also prefer the East End diving for the scenery. I'm not sure if I would go out there to dive if I were staying on the west end though, might just stick with the north wall depending where I was staying.

Realize that East End diving includes the eastern ends of the North and South walls and where exactly they go is weather dependent.
