Hi Docs,
My brother-in-law (who is a diver) asked me a question tonite which I thought best to pass on to you.
He wakes up every morning and his ears are plugged up. After he clears them by holding his nose and blowing, he is clear for the rest of the day. This only happens in the summer time.
1. He is a very new diver and is worried about this being an issue while on a dive vacation coming up. Is this something that normal clearing of the ears might take care of?
2. Could this be an allergy of some type as it only happens in the summer time? If so, will allergy medication clear up his problem?
I understand that you don't have him in front of you, but your input would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jack
