One thing to consider when booking your air: "round-the-world" air costs about the same as RT airfare to Oz. You have to do at least three overnight stops and travel in the same direction. Side trips, like the one to PNG, are extra. Since you are spending a large portion of your vacation money on airfare, why not combine two or three dive trips in one?
