Hello. I have a full day of diving on December 5th in this area. I would love to see as many variety sharks as possible. Any suggestions of which area would be the better diving?
Early December diving Aliwal Shoals or Protea Banks??

I prefere Aliwal Shoal but they are very similar you can also consider Rocky bay have a look at this link Dive south africa scuba dive sites in South Africa and Mozambique

Hi candoil, keep in mind that you need to have an Advance Certification to dive at Protea Banks. For unbaited dives I prefer Protea Banks. From experience I think you have a greater chance to see Hammer-Heads, Bull sharks and Tiger sharks during an unbaited dive at Protea Banks. But for baited dives I agree with jolo on Aliwal Shoal, I think you will have a greater variety and more sharks.
