I was thinking about this the other day and maybe someone can answer this wierd question.....

Becasue of the increase in pressure that a regular diver is subjected to acending and decending, does the eardrum over time streach out because of these stresses?

If it does, does that make it more sensitive to sound or less...i.e. better or worse hearing?

Maybe I think too much and stupid things.
 
Seems if you are equalizing early and often (like we are all taught) there should be little or no long term stretching.
