These are HEAVY duty bank storage tank bottles. They are extremely rare to come across due to their high PSI rating and weight.
Your are buying the bank bottle storage system ONLY. I am GIVING you the original compressor that was originally sold with the bottles for FREE since it needs to be worked on in order to run again.
I have closed my scuba shop and have 2 sets of bank bottles, I am selling one.
These have a normal fill rating of 5,000 psi with a max of 9,000 as I was told from the original owner I bought it from.
The thickness of the walls of these tanks is almost 1" all the way around.
HEAVY is an understatement so bring a few friends to move this bad boy!
The compressor that it was paired with is not running at this time. I put a new 220v motor on it and sent it out to get rewired. I had a exterior stage on the motor fail while filling tanks and just haven't gotten around to taking on this repair project.
If you part out the compressor, you can almost recoup the cost of this entire system in just reselling the 3 filter stacks alone. The tallest filter stack is about 33" to give you a reference. If you are handy, I will show you the area that is bad on the compressor if you want to repair. YES, it is repairable. I have another operating system and don't need this compressor or extra bank bottle system.
If you look at the pics, you will see that the compressor is actually designed to sit on top of the cascade bank bottles which is a fantastic space saver. I bought this system from the original owner and the compressor has about 343 hours on it.
If you know what compressors and bottles cost, you know this is a heck of a deal.
If memory serves me correctly, it is about a 18 CFM system with an additional cooling system special ordered.
$ BEST OFFER ............... not a distress sale, just collecting dust. If you can put it to use, make me an offer.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks
Craig
