CheddarChick, Your DS51 should work in manual mode with the Oly cameras if you get this converter.

However, If I were you, I would sell the Ike strobe and go with one that does not rely on getting it's TTL from an Ikelite housing or converter. The small Inon S2000 has much better coverage and output than the DS-51. That is what I did, sell my DS-51 and DS-160 and get a pair of S2000's and now I have better coverage, battery life and TTL.

Nope. I would have missed having the new cam for the trip, or spent about another $300 for the EPL2 pair. No regrets.

Just out of curiousity, could you post a couple of pics of the HW digital adapter on your housing (inside and out). how easy/difficult was it to install?

Mine is the optical converter, so it's all "outside" the housing. The mount was pretty challenging to make (over-designed...).
I am interested in the hotshoe/port type adapter from HW, but I've not looked into it yet. There's plenty of space in the "hump" for a port. Maybe my DA & custom mount will be up for sale?
