Regarding the E-410 over the E-330, I have said and still feel that image quality is better with the E-410, which is the consensus of opinion of all the camera tests I have seen. I have owned both cameras and used both U/W in Olympus housings and still feel that if Live view is your top priority and you can't live without using it all the time, the E-330 will be the better camera for you. Not only from Olympus but from all the live view cameras to date.
Regarding I.S. it is on all the time when I shoot the E-3 above water and it works with every lens, I use the 12 to 60 90% of the time above water for travel and event type photography. I will be using the Nexus housing for the E-3 when it arrives and will report on how the I. S. works with the 7 to 14 zoom when I have had a chance to use it. For macro, 1:2 or greater the Nikon 105 VR has not shown much of an advantage in the reports I have seen, so I would not expect much help with the Oly 50 macro and I.S. at life size or greater.
You can read my report on the Olympus E-410/PT-E03 housing at the attached link, scroll down for the ten page review.
